Dear Carrie,
The purpose of this letter is to expressmy sincere appreciation to your organization. From the time I walked in and spoke with Dana, the receptionist who was so pleasant to the conclusion of my meeting with Jay Lowery, I felt that I finally had a much needed helping hand.
I like so many Americans refinanced my home at an adjustable rate years ago. My mortgage ended up adjusting to 12.75%. Even though the house is in my name only, I was married at the time I purchase the house and did not expect to end up with credit issues that would eventually lead me to be unable to refinance, to divorce and finally bankruptcy.
Even though I had diligently worked with CitiMortgage sicne October of 2008 to attempt to get my loan payments reduced they continued to give me the run around. I applied for programs with them online, via phone, via fax and by mail but to no avail.
Seriously finding myself in a desperate situationa nd considering walik away from my home because I had depleted all of my savings trying to stay afloat I contacted D&E. Dana emailed me the application to me on Wednesday, May 20. A representative from CitiMortgage’s Load modification Department contacted me on Friday, May 22. Surprisingly, UPS delivered loan modification papers to my home the morning of Tuesday June 2. My interest has been reduced fom 12.75% to 4.8%. It took D&E less than two weeks to plete a task that I had been working on alone, unsuccessfully for nine months.
I am so thankful and appreciative of the professionalism and speedy response shown by both Dana and Jay and have shared my success story wiith so many others who are in similar situations. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or you would like for me to even give a verbal testimonial. Thanks so much, again.
Sincerely,
